Our history

1990

The 90s

In 1988, Stanislas Rollin, formerly Finance Director and then International Director of the Accor Group, created Boissée Finances to develop hotel projects with his business partners.

In 1990, SCIH was created and became the manager/operator of the newly developed hotels.

At an average rate of 2 new hotels per year, under ACCOR franchise (Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Ibis Budget brands), the scope of managed hotels gradually expanded in France, mainly in the Greater West and Paris regions.

2000

The 2000s

The early 2000s saw the launch of THALAZUR.
With the addition of the hotel-spa resorts of Ouistreham, Antibes, Arcachon and Royan, spa therapy became a key growth area. A brand was created to support this offer: THALAZUR.

In 2002, Boissée Finances began to expand in Switzerland, entrusting its management to the Accor group.

In 2005, with the opening of the Ibis Budget Rueil-Malmaison, SCIH passes the threshold of 5,000 hotel rooms in operation.

2010

The 2010s

2014 saw the opening of the first MARRIOTT franchise hotel, the AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot. Over the years, 6 other establishments will follow under different MARRIOTT brands (AC Hôtel, Renaissance, Moxy).

THALAZUR reaches a new milestone. Bandol, the network’s first 5* hotel, opens in 2010. With the construction of Cabourg (2013) and the takeover of the Port Camargue, St-Jean-de-Luz and Carnac resorts, THALAZUR becomes France’s leading spa operator, with 9 resorts on different French coasts.

In 2013, SCIH takes its first steps as a hotel operator outside France, under the ACCOR franchise, in Belgium. Spain, Portugal and Italy soon followed.

2020

The 2020s

2020: we begin operational management of 14 hotels in Switzerland and 2 in Belgium, previously managed by ACCOR.

2022: we create our employer brand, HIVELY HOSPITALITY!

Today, we need to provide our teams with meaning, opportunities and commitments, to develop a mindset and habits that will help our companies and the industry move forward on a human level. Our ambition: to be more efficient and resilient over the long term, and to create new aspirations and enthusiasm for our trades!

2023: we open the first establishment of our new lifestyle hotel brand, URBAN HIVE, in Milan.

2024: we consolidate all our property and operations expertise under the Hively Hospitality banner, which becomes our corporate brand.
